Xiaomi next flagship phone is coming on
On October 4, Xiaomi will hold a global launch event for the Xiaomi 12T series.
The Xiaomi 12 series are among the greatest Android phones available outside of the US, but their restricted supply is a major problem. The Xiaomi 12 Pro was a good flagship phone despite being an incremental improvement over its forerunner. With its enormous 50MP 1-inch Leica camera, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra redefined image technology, but it’s only available in China. The Xiaomi 12T series, a new premium smartphone lineup with a focus on camera performance, is about to be unveiled by Xiaomi. And in contrast to its most recent flagships, the 12T series will debut worldwide rather than just in China.
On October 4 at 8 PM GMT, Xiaomi will hold a global event called “Make Moments Mega.” The business confirmed that the Xiaomi 12T series will be unveiled at the event together with other AIOT goods. The 12T, according to rumors (via @heyitsyogesh), will be the Chinese company’s first smartphone with a 200MP camera. It ought to make use of the same ISOCELL HP1 sensor as Motorola’s Moto X30 Pro. Since at least November 2021, this phone has been the subject of rumors.
The phone’s other specifications are currently unclear, however given that it would be a high-end model, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor should be used. Like other recent Xiaomi phones, super fast charging should be another highlight of the device. In addition to a flagship device with a 200MP camera, Xiaomi may also release a standard model of the device with slightly inferior specifications and a cheaper starting price.
Xiaomi also disclosed that, as of August of this year, it had supplied more than 1.8 million devices of the Xiaomi 11T series throughout Western Europe. Given the fierce competition from products like the Pixel and premium Samsung Galaxy phones in the area, that’s no small accomplishment.
